Calling consent

Daily check-in calls are automated calls. We only place them with prior express consent, captured twice:

  1. Written consent at enrollment. The person enrolling ticks a box with this wording (current version v1-2026-10-09):
I am [name] or authorised to act for them; I agree to receive automated daily check-in calls from [agency] via Keelcroft. Reply 9 on any call to stop.
    and confirms:
The people I list as contacts agreed to receive automated alert calls and emails about this person. This is not an emergency or medical service.
We store the wording version, time, IP address and browser.
  2. Confirmation call. The first call asks the person to press 1 to accept. No daily calls are scheduled until they do. If they press 9, nothing further is scheduled.

Limits

Not an emergency or medical service. In an emergency, call 911.
